Hi! My name is Tyra, I’m a licensed Esthetician and the owner of Total Body Esthetics. I’m a master double certified spray tan artist where I offer luxury custom spray tans, specialized in sunless tanning for ALL women of color in the Omaha-Lincoln area. Being a biracial woman of color growing up in the Midwest who truly loves a good tan. I always found myself only having my desired tan shade during the summer and being very pale in the winter/spring. After years of spending a lot of time in the tanning bed and limited use of SPF, I quickly learned with my education in esthetics how damaging the use of excess sun exposure without protection can be to the skin. With the alternative of spray tanning, I found myself absolutely in love with receiving the perfect tan in just under 30 minutes, no matter what season of the year. My tan addition took over and I’ve now created an environment where women of any ethnic background can enjoy the luxury of custom spray tans without the worry of ever being “orange” or “unnatural” looking. All women of color deserve a space in the sunless industry and I’m blessed to be able to provide inclusivity for all women right here in the Midwest!
